Countering The Language of Violence

Fear, racism, and anger are stoked on a daily basis in the media. And as we saw with the recent white supremacist attacks in Charlottesville, these incitements are leading to violence. If it can happen in Virginia, it can happen here in Georgia.

People of faith have the power to prevent dangerous speech from provoking violence. In fact, there are proven strategies for faith leaders to prevent atrocities targeted on the basis of religion or ethnicity.

That's why we are holding a unique interfaith training: Countering The Language of Violence, featuring leading experts in violence prevention and real-world case-studies, including Rachel Brown, a nationally renowned expert on genocide and genocide prevention.
