Inciting Peace in Greensboro

From attacks at Mother Emanuel AME to Tree of Life Synagogue, our nation is witnessing more dangerous speech and more unconscionable violence. Sadly, it’s happening in North Carolina too. The KKK flyers delivered to communities on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend are signs of intimidation towards followers of minority faiths, immigrants & people of color. Together, people of faith have the power to prevent dangerous speech from provoking the unthinkable if we are proactive.

Faith in Public Life is conducting a series of trainings sharing proven tools and strategies faith leaders can use to prevent violence. Joining us on March 5th, at Congregational United Church in Greensboro from 11-1 p.m. to strategize violence prevention as an interfaith community.
