My Faith Doesn’t Discriminate: Reclaiming Religious Freedom Week of Action

Religious Freedom Day is January 16th, and we want to invite you to participate in a week of action to lift up the message that your faith does not discriminate. Too often, religious freedom is used as a tool to discriminate against our LGBTQ neighbors. It’s resulted in people being denied wedding cakes, refused a chance to adopt children, obtain marriage licenses, and live their lives in freedom. It’s up to us to reclaim religious freedom as a protection for all, not a justification to harm others.

Sign up to join the My Faith Doesn’t Discriminate: Reclaiming Religious Freedom Week of Action. Throughout the week (January 12-18), faith leaders and organizations will be reframing the conversation around religious freedom. Let us know how you’ll be lifting up the messaging during the week and on Religious Freedom Day by checking some boxes to the right.

Faith in Public Life will send you a toolkit with sample social media graphics and text, an op-ed template, and faith leader videos for you to use as a resource to help change the story.
