Congress is one step closer to truly investing in the workers and families of our community. Passing the Budget Resolution has now opened the doors to provide a holy recovery lead with moral justice and equity for all people. But the work is not done just yet! Congress must provide deep investments in care workers, including living wages, benefits, and a pathway to citizenship for those who need it. We must build a care economy that supports workers and their families. It’s time to declare that we are all worth investing in and that begins with the full passage of legislation that lays a new foundation for a Holy recovery.
