Jeff,
Across our various faiths, we know that white Christian nationalism is a threat to our democracy. But people of faith are pushing back.
Join me this Sunday, October 2 as we launch our Faith in Democracy tour in Tempe, Arizona. I’ll be partnering with a local church to inspire and equip communities to reclaim our faith and protect our democracy. Our discussion will be grounded in spiritual disciplines that have strengthened justice-centered communities for centuries.
Toxic white Christian nationalism has found a home in Arizona, but faith leaders like Rev. Jeff Procter-Murphy at Dayspring UMC are fighting back and living into the best values of our shared faiths. Firmly rooted in his faith, Rev. Proctor-Murphy has the power to proclaim: “White Christian Nationalism is anti-democracy. It’s also anti-Jesus.”
From our many faiths, together we can build a true multi-faith, multiracial democracy where every person can thrive.
Join us for worship and the first lecture of the Faith in Democracy Tour:
