Our faith traditions teach us that we are all bound together, and that we are only as healthy, as safe, and as free as our neighbors. Our call for a Holy Recovery includes everyone, including our undocumented immigrant neighbors. There is no recovery without a pathway to citizenship.  As Congress solidifies their budgets and considers what is funded in the upcoming reconciliation package, we demand that they include a pathway to citizenship for millions of essential workers and their families, and DACA and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients.

For far too long, immigrant families have lived in fear of being torn apart because Congress has failed to act. Raids, detentions and deportations wreck havoc on entire communities. But Congress can set our nation on a better moral path by taking bold action for justice.
