Congress is one step closer to truly investing in workers, families, and our communities. But the work in building a Holy Recovery is not done just yet! Congress must include investments in environmental justice communities as we seek to rebuild the economy in a resilient, sustainable, and equitable way. Decades of underinvestment and systemic discrimination have left vulnerable communities with disproportionately high costs for energy, transportation and basic necessities. 

It’s time to declare that we are all worth investing in and that begins with passing the reconciliation package that lays a new foundation for a Holy Recovery. Congress is on its way back from the August Recess and they must hear from us.
